So happy Porter Ranch finally has a new spot (especially for breakfast), which feels like a small miracle around here. Came in with family for some drinks and pastries, and honestly everything in the case looked tempting. We ended up trying a scone, the pumpkin coffee cake (pretty sure that's what it was), and the banana bread, which was my personal favorite. Our lattes were great too. The place is cozy, clean, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. I'm excited to come back and actually try the full menu next time. Only downside: the music was really loud. We found ourselves raising our voices just to talk, and even after asking if they could lower it, it didn't seem to change. A small thing, but it definitely affects the comfort level. Overall though, a sweet new addition to the neighborhood, and I'm rooting for them!

Claudine Kitchen is a newer addition to Porter Ranch and opened about two months ago. It has quickly become a popular spot, and good news, they serve breakfast all day long. I came around 12 p.m. on a weekend and had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. Thankfully, I was given a menu while waiting in line, so I was ready to order by the time it was my turn. Once you get a table, you place your order at the counter and the food is brought directly to you, which was a plus. I also ordered some baked goods to take home. The cinnamon coffee cake muffin was my favorite. They offer plenty of gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options, so there is something for everyone.

They've only been open for about 2 months and I wanted to give it a try since it had some good reviews. The Good: the location is prime, there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I had the Salmon Miso Bowl. It was good but nothing too special. The Bad: This is NOT a dine in restaurant, it's an order at the cashier and a food runner will bring you your food. That's the only two times you speak with one of their employees. I don't know if the setup is a self service type of setup or if their waiters/customer service is nonexistent. You have to get up and refill your own waters which is annoying to keep getting up mid conversation. They also have a sign saying to limit your stay to 90min during peak hours which I understand, but definitely not my vibe.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! I had the salmon bowl and it was exquisite. I’ll be one of my to go dishes at this place. It’s delicious, healthy, fun to have different veggies. The Chef really nailed it with the sauce. Also, I had a vanilla latte with almond milk which was delicious and well made not overly sweet like other places. All the deserts look Amazing! I had the blondie, it is a great combination of pastry meets great snack and it’s really filling too. I like that they cut it in a big portion. Parking is super easy and free around the plaza. They have an outdoor and indoors area. I love the design and atmosphere of the restaurant. It’s feels so cozy. Love the chairs! Very stylish. The staff is friendly. You have to try this place! It’s my new ‘Cheers’!

Always a great experience at Claude Kitchen! I usually visit the Ventura location, but it’s nice to have another one closer. Pastries are flaky and flavorful, brunch plates are fresh and filling, and the service is friendly and fast. Whether you’re grabbing coffee and a pastry or sitting down for breakfast all day, this place never disappoints.

First time trying the new Claudine Kitchen. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. I tried the breakfast burrito and it was massive and tasty. We also had the chocolate chip pancakes and a blueberry scone, both delicious. Looking forward to trying other items on future visits.
